To me, a Savannah engagement session means live oaks draped in Spanish moss, lush greenery, and of course, a little bit of marshlands. Lorelei and Jonathan’s engagement session had all three! It was a moody day – which the bride-to-be preferred to sunshine, anyway 🙂 And I have to agree: overcast days are one of my favorite kinds of days for shooting. The clouds create soft, even lighting, which means there aren’t any harsh shadows from the sun. It’s basically a photographer’s dream weather – and this engagement session was a photographer’s dream, too!
Lorelei and Jonathan will be having a small Savannah wedding at the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum which I am beyond excited to shoot! If you’re looking for places to elope in Savannah, GA, you might want to give this venue a look – their outdoor space is INCREDIBLE and feels like you’re in your own secret garden.
