When Adam and Sara told me they wanted Charleston engagement photos, I couldn’t sign up fast enough. One of my favorite cities close to home is Charleston, and it’s for obvious reasons! It feels so much like Savannah, yet so different at the same time. Charleston is so charming, with beautiful streets and alleys that I’ll never get tired of exploring! This Charleston engagement photo session was an absolute adventure. We ventured around beautiful streets, stopped for celebratory cocktails, and finished at Charleston Waterfront Park. Though the day called for rain, this Charleston engagement session didn’t need an umbrella – thanks Mother Nature 😉

I personally love engagement photos for a few reasons. First, having an engagement session is an amazing way to get to know your wedding photographer prior to your big day! By the time your wedding day arrives, you’re already more comfortable in front of the camera and your photographer. Total win-win. Another reason I’m a sucker for an engagement session is because they’re FUN! My couples always tell me that a session with me sort of feels like an elevated date night. You get all dressed up, cuddle up next to your boo, and soak in the moment wherever it is you’ve chosen to have your session. I’m a bit biased, but Charleston engagement photos kind of hit the mark in every way!
