Where can I even begin with Tessa and Jesse’s intimate Savannah wedding at Wormsloe Historic Site? After the couple got ready at the beyond gorgeous Alida Hotel, the pair traveled to Wormsloe separately, and waited to see each other for the first time as Tessa walked down the aisle. Tessa is a super-talented wedding photographer herself, so I knew that every last detail for her day would be photo-worthy, and damn, was I right! With Wormsloe as the backdrop, their ceremony setup was simple but so, so perfect (looking at you, Pampas grass), and after their beautiful, tearful vows, Tessa and Jesse sealed their ceremony with a kiss and then an exuberant walk down the aisle past their loved ones. We ended up hanging around Wormsloe for a little while longer, just as the sun was starting to set, and we got some HELLA dreamy photos before hopping in our cars and finishing off the day at Forsyth Park before their reception. After walking around the park enjoying golden hour, the pair ended their session in quite possibly the best way ever: with shotgunning beers and wearing animal masks — let’s face it, that right there is marriage goals.
I was so beyond grateful to be able to capture their day, and also so honored that a fellow photographer chose me to capture her wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a happier, laid-back couple, and I wish them love, happiness, and all of the Bud Lights in the world 🙂
